11 months old

We're only a month away from his first birthday and he is eating like a pig, crawling at lightning speed, and learning fun stuff (like standing up in his high chair even after being buckled in!!, holding his own sippy cup and bottle, throwing food he doesn't like on the floor, and crying when his hand gets swatted after the throwing). Here is a naughty look:

First Haircut !?!?!

before

My sister Jen coached me as I cut Briella's hair for the first time. Her ends were getting scraggly and I was getting tired of combing out food and lint and such . . . I think we took about 4 inches off the back, but it is still long and pretty cute, too!

Silly Girl

I found these headbands to keep Briella's hair out of her face. She wasn't a big fan when I put one on yesterday, but this morning after her bath, she gladly put one on herself. It is so handy that she can take care of herself this way ;)

In other news she has been wearing underwear for a week and averages one accident a day, so we're pretty excited about that (the dryness not the accident).
Briella also enjoys saying her ABC's. It goes like this: "A B C D E G H caterpillar Q S T U W Y Z know my ABCs caterpillar sing with me." I'm a little suspicious that the whole caterpillar came from this:

The Awesomest Diaper Bag Ever

I can hardly believe it myself, but this adorable diaper bag that fits everything I want and more, includes a custom cell phone pocket and more love, sweat, and tears than I can describe. While caring for our six children, my sister, Mindy, and I each made our very own diaper bag!! WOW! It was quite ambitious for this ametuer sewer, but Mindy is more experienced and helped me out a ton. THANK YOU MINDY!! Also thanks for those who lent me sewing machines :)

Look at all these pockets!! and the space!!More pockets on the other side, still adorable . . .
