11 Months

Our little man is now 11 months old . . . and teething again :(  I still got him to smile, but he is holding his pipe and was only awake for about an hour in between naps yesterday... I tried to cover up his belly, but it evidently didn't work.  When he isn't running a fever and working on teeth, he still drools, leaving drips around the house because he crawls everywhere.  He eats well and holds his own bottle.  He loves to pull himself up to standing, but isn't taking steps too often.  He workouts everyday by crawling up the steps at least once.  I can't believe we are a month away from his first birthday! What a fast year!!

ROFL

Stephan was playing with Asher the other night, bouncing a ball off the wall. Asher was cracking up so much, we had to take a video.  Enjoy :)

Thoughts from a Three Year Old

Our dear Gideon says the funniest things and I am having a hard time knowing which to share because in typical boy fashion WAY to many of his quotes deal with potty issues. So three of the four still relate to butts and potty, I just had to share anyway. Enjoy :)

**After swimming he was changing back into clothes and had to go potty.  He heads to the bathroom naked and comes back to his room saying, "Mom, do you want to feel my butt? It is SO clean!!"

**We were in the backyard, the kids were swinging and Briella kept asking for an underdog; Gideon did not want an underdog.  After awhile he says, "Mom, I want an underwear dog."  :) I was smiling and asked him what he said. "Please can I have an underwear dog?!?"

**During a recent bath Gideon got a little too much water in his mouth/nose/eyes and was crying rather dramatically.  One of his parents (cough) made a comment that he wasn't going to die and needed to stop crying.  For the next bath and hair rinsing he didn't cry and proudly states, "See, I'm not going to die!!"

**Gideon, again a typical boy, is often asked if he needs to go potty or told to just go potty.  The other day he came back from the bathroom very quickly and I asked him if he had gone potty. He said he hadn't and I asked why not.  His intriguing reply: "Jesus didn't make me that way."

Can you find my favorite two boys?!?

First Haircut

When Asher was around 5 months I cut about 2 inches off of like 15 strands of hair . . . so technically that was his first haircut.  But we aren't really into mohawks over here and he had A LOT of hair on the top it was turning into a comb-over look . . . So at 10 months he got a haircut.  He wasn't necessarily thrilled with the process or the result, but his hair is a little less wild now . . .

10 months and more

Our little guy is 10 months old already!  We are quickly approaching one year and I can hardly believe it.  He is a bundle of fun and recently developed a new skill . . . thanks to two very excited coaches :)
