Briella's Vocabulary
My dear Briella has been cracking me up recently . . .
- She loves to know if Gideon has a dirty diaper or if it is just wet. If it is dirty, I often say "Yucky." She seems to have a hard time with "yucky" so she says "Lucky" and I have to say, changing dirty diapers does not make me feel lucky!
- Evidently I occasionally ask Briella "Do you have to go potty honey?" She has started to tell me, "I go potty honey."
- We have been trying to get Briella to listen better while we read the Bible after dinner. For awhile she would say the last words and then she started saying "last words" or "bible." So Stephan has started stopping more often throughout the reading and she does quite well. Tonight, we were reading Isaiah 23 and at the end of verse 13 there was a slight break and Briella repeated the last few words. Not words you want to hear your two year old repeat. I'll let you look it up, but one word begins with a P, has three syllables, and rhymes with fruit. (upon further checking different versions use a different word here, the KJV has harlot, but our ESV has prostitute, so dear Brie said "song prostitute")
