Did you notice how I posted a lot in March? And then I quit posting a lot. I'm sure blogger is protecting me from all the emails demanding more updates from the Postma's, because I haven't received any of them.
Here are a few random stories that I do not have pictures to illustrate:
Asher is currently working on teeth 7 and 8. I used to tell Briella and Gideon that Asher couldn't eat this or that because babies don't have teeth. Now they keep reminding me. It's so humbling to be corrected by a 3 and 4 year old.
We were waiting for the kiddos to finish eating tonight and Stephan was holding Asher. He lunged for Stephan's glass and knocked it to the floor resulting in a large crash. (thankfully the glass was empty) Mere moments after putting the broom away I was reaching a little high for a large Tupperware of brown sugar and dropped it all over the hallway floor resulting in the second mess to sweep up. It was a lovely night over here . . .
I was waiting for Gideon to go to the bathroom before putting him to bed. He was already sad to leave his cars for the night (he had dozens of them lined up on the train track). Then he was more upset because he could not take a car to bed with him and to aggravate the situation I was now requiring him to go to the bathroom. I looked in the mirror and see him facing down, but with his watery eyes looking right at me and his large lower lip protruding. I busted up, it just cracked me up how he wanted me to see his sad pathetic look. When I started laughing, he started crying . . . another joyous moment of mothering this evening.
Last night in church I was smelling something foul so I asked Gideon if he tooted. He said "no." Then he turns to me and says, "When we were singing I tooted, that's when I tooted."

Too cute! I LOVE your stories! The last one about tooting in church is cute. At least the kid is honest, can't fault him for that! :)
